Surat Al-Kahf is a Makkan surah. It was revealed after surat Al-Ghaashiyah, but in the order of the Qur’an it comes after surat Al-Isra’. It consists of 110 ayahs.

How to behave with regard to Allah’s predestination of events

The story is that of Prophet Musa (AS) and Al-Khidr. Prophet Musa (AS) was asked by his people about who was the most knowledgeable on earth. Prophet Musa (AS) replied that he himself was. He thought that he had enough knowledge to earn that title, especially because he was one of Allah’s favored Prophets. However, Allah (SWT) revealed to him that there was a learned man elsewhere. For this reason, He commanded him (AS) to go to where the two seas met. Musa (AS), accompanied by a boy servant, traveled a great distance until he was overcome by fatigue. He then told his servant, “Truly, we have suffered much fatigue in this, our journey” (TMQ, 18:62).

He was extremely exhausted by the time he met up with the righteous and more knowing man. The type of knowledge that man had is in fact the trust in Allah’s predestination: the way Allah predetermines and arranges the course of events in life. There is also wisdom in Allah’s predestination which makes necessary for one to know for certain that Allah alone handles life matters. This knowledge, in short, is learning how to know Allah (SWT) in the correct way in so far as His handling of life matters is concerned.

Before Prophet Musa (AS) could accompany Al-Khidr on his journey, the latter set forth a few conditions. Allah (SWT) says what can be translated as, “Ask me not about anything till I myself mention of it to you… but no one knows its true meanings except Allah” (TMQ, 18:70). Prophet Musa (AS) replied, “If Allah wills, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught” (TMQ, 18:69)

TASVEER E TAJ BABA KI

TASVEER  TAJ BABA

...In his 6th year when Tajuddin was at school, in Kamptee a famous Muslim Saint, Hazarat Abdulla Shah, ..( whose tomb is now adjoining the railway station at Kamptee) came to see him. He gazed at Tajuddin, took out a piece of sweetmeat from his bag, chewed a bit of it and thrust the rest into Tajuddin mouth. He then told one of the teachers standing by : " What can you teach him? He is already well taught in his previous life." And, addressing the young Tajuddin, he said: " Eat little, Sleep little, and Talk little. While reading Quran, read as though the holy Prophet Mohammed has descended upon you."

.........This strange incident effected a profound change in tajuddin. Tears flowed from his eyes continuously for three days and he lost all interest in play and childish pranks. He sought solitude and was always found reading the works of great Sufi Saints and reflecting upon their profound significance. Of all that he read, the one couplet that captured his heart most was ---- " Drink wine, burn Quran and kaba; dwell in the mandap ( temple) but never hurt the feelings of , or cause pain to, any human heart. "

.........Hazarat Abdulla Shah was a Sufi dervish ( a Muslim mystic ). Neither he nor the Sufi mystic who wrote the above lines could hardly have meant these lines literally. It must be remembered that they are meant quite differently from what they appear outwardly. The commonest examples are the use of terms of drinking , lovemaking and intoxication in their poetry to connote mystical experiences. So the above lines actually meant that one has to drink the wine of ' true and sincere devotion' and faith, and not the dirty wine of worldly life; that the holy Quran is neither the parchment or the ink in which it inscribed, nor the Holy Kaba the stone; nor is it right to be caught in the narrow religious bigotry of hating other religions ( like belittling places of worship of other religions as the Hindu mandaps ). The most important of all is the non-injury of the body or the religious feelings and sentiments of any human being. Indeed Tajuddin spiritual career had been an unwritten, unuttered, commentary on these lines. When he became the full-fledged Tajuddin "Aulia", he ordered equal treatment of both the Hindus and the Muslims, as his story proves.

ZIARAT E TAJ BABA

                     ZIARAT E TAJ BABA

Hazrat Tajuddin Baba, like all other Spiritual Persons who become known for their compassion, was constantly being approached by the rich and the poor for a cure for the worldly pains and no one ever left without His blessing and what-so-ever material desires they wished. His Glory spread like jungle fire and thousands and thousands came to the palace at Shakardara to bow down to Him. Taj, as the word means, was the crown of Divinity, for a stream of disciples from all walks of life, and from all schools of religious faiths.

By 1925 Baba was nearly 65 years old, and became weak and exhausted. It was in August 1925 that Baba’s health deteriorated much, and Maharaja Raghoji Rao availed the services of the best Physicians of Nagpur to treat Baba, but of no avail. Baba was asked if He would permit the large number of devotees who were anxiously awaiting for a glimpse of their Hazrat, and with Baba’s willingness, the Palace was opened to all, who came in a large number for a last blessing from the King of Kings, the Taj of Sadguru’s, Hazrat Tajuddin Baba. It was so, on 17th of August 1925, that Baba left the physical form, but He is and shall always remain in the hearts of all of His devotee

ISLAMIYAT KI KHASIYAT MADAT

Image result for ISLAM

Islam presents itself as a universal religion with the remarkable and unique features mentioned in the Holy Qur’an as follows:
Its God is the Lord, Who is ‘the Sustainer of all the worlds’, and ‘the Lord of mankind’.
Its Message, the Holy Qur’an, is ‘a Message for all the worlds’.
Its prophet is the ‘Messenger for the whole humanity’.
All other religions had always presented their God, their Messenger and their Message to be only applicable to their specific regions or tribes. It is only the religion of Islam, which has claimed to be applicable to the whole mankind

According to Islamic belief, Allah is the proper name of God,and humble submission to his will, divine ordinances and commandments is the pivot of the Muslim faith."He is the only God, creator of the universe, and the judge of humankind."He is unique (wāḥid) and inherently one (aḥad), all-merciful and omnipotent. The Qur'an declares "the reality of Allah, His inaccessible mystery, His various names, and His actions on behalf of His creatures.
Most Muslims use the untranslated Arabic phrase in shā’ Allāh (meaning 'if God wills') after references to future events. Muslim discursive piety encourages beginning things with the invocation of bismillāh (meaning 'in the name of God').In Islamic tradition, there are 99 Names of God (al-asmā’ al-ḥusná lit. meaning: 'the best names' or 'the most beautiful names'), each of which evoke a distinct characteristic of Allah. All these names refer to Allah, the supreme and all-comprehensive divine name. Among the 99 names of God, the most famous and most frequent of these names are "the Merciful" (al-Raḥmān) and "the Compassionate" (al-Raḥīm).
There are certain phrases in praise of God that are favored by Muslims, including "Subḥān Allāh" (Holiness be to God), "al-ḥamdu lillāh" (Praise be to God), "lā ilāha illā Allāh" (There is no deity but God) and "Allāhu akbar" (God is greater) as a devotional exercise of remembering God (dhikr). In a Sufi practice known asdhikr Allah (lit. remembrance of God), the Sufi repeats and contemplates on the name Allah or other divine names while controlling his or her breath.

NAMAZ KI GAWAHI

                    NAMAZ KI GAWAHI

Prayer, or Salat, was made obligatory for all Muslims, whether they be rich or poor, strong or weak, black or white, male or female. Prayer allows the believer to enrich their spirituality and cultivate the soul’s right to love and worship the Creator, Allah.
“Verily, I am Allah! There is none worthy of worship but I, so worship Me and offer prayer perfectly for My remembrance.” [Quran, Taha, 13-14]
The importance of prayer is conveyed constantly in the Quran and was also stressed by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): “Know that among your duties, prayer is foremost”
The performance of prayer five times a day is considered vital to attain success in this life and the hereafter. Following the testimony of faith, performance of the prayers at their correct times and complete in bowings, prostrations and humility, will guarantee forgiveness from God and everlasting paradise. Muslims believe that the first matter that they will be brought to account for on the Day of Judgment is the prayer. If it is sound, then the rest of their deeds will be sound. And if it is bad, then the rest of his deeds will be bad.
Prayer provides a constant reminder of the essence of our creation and provides a direct connection to Allah, who linked success and felicity to humility in prayer. It emphasizes the proximity between religion and daily life. Life, from an Islamic standpoint, is to be directed to Allah. Life is an opportunity for worship and the remembrance of Allah. Praying repeatedly throughout the day and interrupting the daily activities brings about the realization of this concept. The believer, through prayer, acquires a spiritual awareness that he takes with him throughout all of life’s endeavors.
Prayer purifies the heart and truly, through Prayer, a believer attains spiritual devotion and moral elevation. Prayer not only gives a deep connection with God, but in prayer one establishes patience, humility and sincerity. Prayer provides a means of repentance and is a restrainer from shameful and unjust deeds. This is portrayed through the following saying of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh):
“If a person had a stream outside his door and he bathed in it five times a day, do you think he would have any filth left on him?” The people said, “No filth would remain on him whatsoever.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) then said, “That is like the five daily prayers: Allah wipes away the sins by them.” (From the Hadeeth collections of Al-Bukhari and Muslim.)
Praying five times a day engages the believer in constant remembrance of God and keeps him away from any unjust deeds and leads him only to deeds that will earn the pleasure of God. It is through prayer that one really finds inner peace and fulfillment. It is also a source of patience, courage, hope, confidence, inner peace, stability, equality, unity and an expression of thankfulness to God.
